The foodstuffs we eat are of different varieties. So it is important to help our child differentiate between salty, sweet, and crunchy food. The activity below will help in this learning process and thus improve your child’s taste capabilities. This activity is for children between 5- 6 years only. You have to ensure that you include food items that your child likes.
Steps:
1. Firstly lay some variety of food items that are your child’s favourite on the floor. These can include fruits, peanuts, butter, cheese, chocolates, cornflakes etc. depending on what your child likes.
2. Next step is to blindfold your kid, and leading them to the tray of food. Help them to pick up food items.
3. As they taste, ask them to guess the food and see how many of their guesses are correct. Discuss and understand their perception of the food and its taste.
This will not only help your child understand the various tastes, but also help in development of their tasting ability.
The growth and success of your child are not only associated with education and skills; the small decisions you make today as a parent firmly lay the groundwork for your child's secure tomorrow. When it comes to financial security, life insurance is an effective tool. You can choose from various types, such as whole life insurance, endowment plans, ULIPs, term insurance, and more.
You can also opt for a 1 crore term insurance policy, which offers robust coverage at low premiums that fits within your budget. You can also use a term insurance plan calculator to tailor your policy based on your requirements and your child’s goals. Remember, selecting the appropriate plan based on needs is critical so your child has adequate funds to fulfil all their dreams.
