Be rhythmic and make your kid learn rhymes with rhythmic words for every occasion to increase his vocabulary.

Requisites: Rhyme book, toy aeroplane

Steps:

1. Choose a topic, for example while playing the topic can be an aeroplane.

2. Sing with your child the most appropriate song from the rhyme book you have selected and you should know the tune or play it from any source.

3. Like for an aeroplane the song can be: "Aeroplane aeroplane up in the sky Where are you going flying so high Over the hills and mountains Aeroplane aeroplane will you take me"?

4. Now explain the meaning of all the words. 5. Use it daily in your conversation. Your kid will gradually learn the song and also use the words as you will do in front of him. Likewise while teaching numbers and alphabets sing rhymes.

Your child will learn fast and enjoy at the same time. Plan a song for everything you want to teach him. This activity is a perfect blend of language learning and application, a combination of theory with practical experience .
