Let’s Eat While Playing!

This activity is definitely for your kiddo if he is a fussy eater or if he is fond of playing with his food. This is a very simple, easy activity and costs almost nothing. Moreover, this board game also helps your sweetheart to develop his motor and cognitive skills.

Contents

Requisites: Waffles, sultanas, blueberries, dice, butter knife and fork.

Steps:

1. Take a waffle and start filling the empty waffle with blueberries and sultanas or any food item you want to use.

2. When the squares are filled with the equal amount of blueberries and sultanas then start rolling the dice.

3. Whoever rolls the highest will goes first. For instance, player 1 rolls four and player 2 rolls five then, player 2 goes first and eats five squares of the waffle. The player that rolls the higher number gets to eat the waffle. You can use a knife and a fork to cut the pieces neatly.

4. As the game advances the players will eat more and more waffle pieces.

5. The player who devours the most pieces first will be the winner.

6. Remember to encourage your kiddo to count the squares he wins by himself. This way he can also learn counting.

This activity is one of those activities that not only makes your kid to have his nutritional diet but will also help him in his numeracy and fine motor skills.
