Requisites: One smooth stick or dowel rod, string, a small magnet, construction paper, crayons, scissors, paper clips.

    Steps:

    1. Cut the string about 2 feet long.

    2. Now tie the string around the stick.

    3. Attach the magnet to the string to serve as a hook of the fishing line.

    4. Draw your fish on the plain paper.

    5. Now, this is your template. Cut out the fish shapes from the construction paper using your fish template.

    6. Color the fishes with different colors.

    7. Attach a paper clip on the top of every fish and place the fishes in the empty aquarium or on the floor.

    8. Now educate your child how to use your fishing line. Encourage him to name the color of the fish before catching a fish using the magnetized fishing rod.

Allow your sweetie pie to choose which fish he will try and catch. Always supervise your kiddo during this activity, make sure the string does not cause any harm to him.
