Making your own tent in the garden on a sunny day, it is a perfect way to occupy your bored child. There is something magical about creating your own cubby tent out of sheets and string that beats a store-bought tent every time.
Requisites: Ropes, 2 bed sheets, bricks, picnic blanket.
Steps:
1. Stretch a rope between two trees or poles and tie firmly. You could even use a fence post or a large hook screwed into a wall.
2. Peg one of your sheets to the rope, with most of its length hanging down one side and then the second sheet with most of its length hanging down the other side of the rope. These will be the sides of your tent.
3. Pull out the bottom edges of each sheet and weight them down with bricks or rocks.
4. Lay down a picnic blanket inside your tent.
5. Let your child stay in there all day: serve your child lunch in there, in summer, you could even serve him dinner inside the tent.
6. Whatever happens, you won’t see him for at least a few hours as he will be amazed by his new small home.
This is a great opportunity to bond with your child!
The growth and success of your child are not only associated with education and skills; the small decisions you make today as a parent firmly lay the groundwork for your child's secure tomorrow. When it comes to financial security, life insurance is an effective tool. You can choose from various types, such as whole life insurance, endowment plans, ULIPs, term insurance, and more.
You can also opt for a 1 crore term insurance policy, which offers robust coverage at low premiums that fits within your budget. You can also use a term insurance plan calculator to tailor your policy based on your requirements and your child’s goals. Remember, selecting the appropriate plan based on needs is critical so your child has adequate funds to fulfil all their dreams.
