Let’s Make Fingerprint Animals

Get your kid to use her hands with this fun thumb and finger print activity. Your kid will love getting her hands messy to create colorful fun animals. You can add more details later to give them life. In this activity your child will hone her such painting and drawing skills. It’s a great craft activity for enhancing hand and eye coordination.
Requisites: Poster colors- Brown, Orange, Red, Yellow, white A4 size sheet, googly eyes, sketch pens, small bowls, paint brushes, water in a small bowl, glue, damp cloth for wiping fingers to change colors.
Steps:
1. Cut the A4 size drawing sheet into two equal halves.
2. Pour all the colors in small quantities into the bowls.
3. With the help of a brush, paint the thumbs of your child and stamp on the paper to create a pattern of a peacock. Let the sheet dry in air.
4. After the sheet is fully dried, stick googly eyes on the face of the peacock.
5. With the help of a thin paint brush, make the beak of the bird. Make the legs using an orange sketch pen.
6. Other animals that you can make similarly are leopards, cheetahs and giraffes! Create a variety of 4 or 5 of these colorful fun paint fingerprint animals.
Your kiddo loves playing with paints and he will absolutely enjoy creating them. This activity will help him hone his motor skills.
