Driving your car in a busy traffic is hectic for you, it is fun for your child. He might even want to switch places with you! Here is one such activity that can be fun like driving. It also improves his gross motor skills.

Steps:

1. An announcer calls out the traffic signal lights and your child should move accordingly. Get many children to participate in this activity.

2. When an announcer says green light your child should run, red light is to stop, yellow light is to move slowly, and to spice up the game add more colors and action like purple color is to walk, blue light to hop, pink light to walk backwards etc. Its fun if all children can use their bicycles.

3. Add points for children who do it correctly. Maximum point scorer is declared the winner.

Have a great day-out with enthusiastic children who love to play and run. While you can have fun playing along, the game helps your child to use his large muscles in hands, legs and other parts of the body and is a good exercise that helps in honing bone and muscle strength.
