Make Ghost Puppets & Tell Stories

Make these spooky yet cute creatures would be super fun for your little monsters. Just assistance will be required by elder in creating these “Spookiness in White”. You can make the whole family of ghost puppets for the puppet show.

Requisites: 2 medium size white paper cups, 2 small size paper cups, Set of 2 spooky googly eyes (for each ghost), black card sheet, white card sheet, red and yellow color paper, white crape paper, scissor, hot glue, a pointed object (to make a small hole), a long thick yarn/thread (approx 1 feet for each ghost).

Steps:

1. Make a hole in the center bottom of the paper cup.

2. Insert a thick thread and pass it through and make a thick knot on the inner side of the cup.

3. Cut an oval shape from the black card sheet, that will be the mouth of the ghost.

4. Draw and cut the hands on white card sheet.

5. Paste 1 hand each on both the side of paper cup in middle.

6. Paste the eyes on the close ended side of the cup.

7. Paste the oval mouth in between but slightly below the eyes.

8. Cut 1 inch strips of white crape paper in length, approx 5-6 for each ghost.

9. Paste those strips on the open ended side of cup, take 1 inch inside the cup.

10. Cut the yellow bow 1 each and paste it on one medium and 1 small paper cup approx 1 inch above the open ended side. The male ghosts are ready.

11. Cut the red bow 1 each and paste it on one medium and 1 small paper cup on right top corner of head. The female ghosts are ready.

12. Make a spooky house theater using a cardboard or used packaging box to exhibit the puppet show for your kid.

You can ask your kiddo to create a story related to the ghost family or you could tell him a story!
