Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
Your child has now learnt to handle a pencil which is a great thing. Children belonging to the age group 3-4 are open to adapt and learn. It is your responsibility to work on your kid’s creative skills so that he can explore new things. You can teach him to recognise and draw different shapes.
Steps:
1. Make the child familiar with basic geometric shapes such as a circle, square and a rectangle.

2. Once this is done then you can start with making him learn how to draw them on a paper.
3. Start with teaching him how to draw a straight line. This is the basic way to start.
4. Once the little one perfects this then you can demonstrate how to draw a square by joining different lines. It would require great patience to make the child learn these shapes. Never force the kid or push him so much that he gets irritated.
Try and make this a fun activity. For example, make him draw a circle using a cup or a bangle.
