Your toddler is able to comprehend the length and breadth of things now. A simple measuring tool, like a ruler, can be instrumental in her understanding of scale. Similarly, in this game, we will be using blocks which are common toys for toddlers.

Requisites: Block toy set or any other objects like fruits or plastic cups which can be stacked or queued

Steps:

1. Take a set of blocks and ask your little one to put it one on top of the other. You can do the same yourself for your little star to follow.

2. Make two such stacks.

3. Ask her how a stack of blocks is taller than the other stack of blocks or how many blocks taller is one stack from another.

This game can have endless variations using fruits, utensils or toys or any other objects. This game can be played both indoors or outdoors. Very soon your shining star will be proficient in counting and measuring the objects around her.
