Are the walls in your child’s room plain and boring? Is she constantly complaining about putting some drawings on the wall? Here is a fun-filled activity which will help with just that! You can just help your little girl make this magnetic board so she can show her super cool artwork on her walls to others and not dirty it anymore! Here is how you can make it.

Requisites: A large brown paper bag, strong glue, any heavy object to use as weight, one sheet of felt paper, magnetic tape, a pair of safety scissors
Steps:
1. Lay the brown paper bag on a flat surface and smooth it over using your palms to make it flat. Using strong glue, stick the inner bottom flap of the paper bag, along the two long sides of the bag. This is done to provide it with some sturdiness.
2. Place any heavy object, like a book or a vase onto the bag so it sticks together really well, without any air bubbles. Wait till it dries completely.
3. Using a pair of safety scissors carefully cut a piece of the felt paper, a little larger than the face of the brown paper bag (about two inches or so). Now, place the paper bag on top of the felt sheet.
4. Apply some glue to the sides of the paper bag, leaving about half an inch from the outside. Fold in the edges of the felt paper into the paper bag to stick the felt firmly with the paper bag.
5. Make sure the felt paper and the paper bag do not have any air bubbles in between. They need to be as flat as possible.
6. Place the bag on a tabletop with its right side down. Now, cut pieces of the magnetic tape and paste them all over the back of the paper bag. Bring it all the way around the front to create the look of a frame.
7. Flip the bag over and there you have it! You can use a magnetic board to simply put up any of your child’s artwork on it!
Your child is absolutely going to love doodling even more as she can proudly showcase them on something she created!
Note: You can also punch a hole and put a string through it to create a loop so that you can hang it on the wall.
