Maths with Ice Cream Sticks- The Fun Way of Learning

A combination of craft and learning attracts the attention of your child now. Here's an innovative activity with ice cream sticks and coloured pens. You should ensure that your child is ready for the activity before heading for it.

Steps:
1. Take an ice cream stick.
2. Write down a numerical problem on it using a coloured pen. For example- 2+30=?
3. Draw a bubble at the end of the stick so that the child can write his answer.
4. You can prepare similar numerical sticks for the child.
5. Place these sticks in a plastic glass and ask the kid to pick one.

You can help the kid in solving the problem by offering hints. Addition and subtraction numerical can be offered initially. Later you may move to multiplication and division. Be supportive and cheer the kid so that he can solve the problems without losing confidence. Do not forget an ice cream treat if she gets all right answers.
