Mini Bat Pinatas Carrying Lollies

A creative activity to teach your kid concepts like storage, shapes and pushing and pulling. An activity beautifully conceptualized on the Halloween theme. Your kid can think of other creatures to replicate the activity.

Requisites: 1 Bat wing printable,1 Toilet roll, 1 A4 size black craft paper, 1 small square of black tissue paper (about8cmx8cm), 2 Googly craft eyes,1 black pipe cleaner,1 small bead, Glue, Scissors, Black wool or String

Steps:

1. The very first step is to cut wings of the bat, a circle of the size of the base of toilet roll and a rectangle which has a dimension of 10cmx14.5cm out from the black craft paper.

2. Once cut, now make a plug from where the lollies will come out, thus it has to be at the base of the bat.

3. After this is done, take the circular black craft paper and the square sheet together, place the circle on top of the square sheet and insert the black pipe cleaner through the center of the same and let it pass through the toilet roll and place a small bead with pipe cleaner on the inside.

4. Now paste the square sheet and the base of the roll together by folding and taping the square sheet from all the sides.

5. After pasting the base and square sheet, take the rectangular sheet and wrap it around the toilet roll evenly.

6. Now is the time to fill the roll with lollies and candies or whatever you feel like, after filling, fold the top edge of the rectangular sheet inwardly in order to make the ear of bats.

7. Now paste the wings which were cut on the roll. Place the Googly eyes as per the adjustments.

8. Using your finger twist the pipe cleaner in a curly manner to form the curly tail of the bat.

9. In order to hang the bat, fix a piece of string on the top of the bat. Now you are ready to pull out the bat tail and now enjoy the lollies and candies rushing outside. The pull has to be instantaneous and sharp as a light pull will not help.

A very enjoyable activity for your kid. He or she will learn how to share things, where eyes nose and tails are to be placed for birds and animals. This will help your kid understand the concept of shapes and colors too. Your kid will enjoy it immensely.
