This game is just so apt for your 3-4 year old child as it builds up self-esteem while your child becomes the center of attention and it also gives your child an opportunity to listen and follow the instructions given when in a group. This game requires a group of children as it works best with them.

Requisites: Just a shaker or any instrument

Steps:

1. Let the children sit in the circle and choose one child to be in the middle.

2. As you sing a song, encourage any child to come in the middle of the circle and dance out the moves as you sing the song by using that child’s name.

3. Repeat this activity till all the children in the circle get their turn.

This activity will let your child follow instructions like up, down, roll etc. and listen to them carefully. He will also get involved in the game by being in the spotlight and also get along well with other children as well. This also helps in instilling self-esteem in your child by being the center of attraction for the moment.
