This activity can be played at home during the weekend when your kid is getting frusrated due to the rains outside. Family members can join in the game to make it fun and interesting to your kid. This task will help your kid hone his eye-hand coordination and will help him build a better vocabulary.

Requisites: A small ball.

Steps:

1. Choose one player to be the leader. The leader stands aside as the other players form a circle. Start passing the ball from player to player.

2. The leader calls out any one alphabet.

3. Whoever is holding the ball when the letter is called out has to name 6 things that begin with the same alphabet before the ball comes around to him again. For example, if the leader calls out "B" the player can say, "Ball, building, bag, bug, bee, banana".

4. If the player fails to call out six words before the ball is passed back to him the ball continues to be passed around the circle and the leader calls out a new letter.

5. Once each player has had a turn, the players who couldn't call out six words in time are out of the game.

6. The winner is the last player remaining who can call out six words before he gets the ball again.

This is a great game which not only involves physical activity but also helps your kid to improve his vocabulary as he plays.
