Nature Paint Brushes

When nature paint brushes are transferred onto the paper, your child explores his creativity and imagination freely as the patterns come in the form of textured painting.

Requistes: A big chart paper, paints, twigs, elastic bands, sharp scissors, plant cuttings found in garden.

Steps:

1. Walk with your child in the nearby park/garden and collect some twigs. Also, collect the bushiest part of the plant and snip off a small bunch. Try to have leaves of minimum three different plants.

2. Trim off the leafiest part so that they are roughly the same length. Help your child to get three bunches of leaves ready.

3. Take a bunch of leaves and attach it to the end of the twig by wrapping the elastic band around it many times. Your nature paint brush is ready to use. (three in number)

4. Keep the chart paper on the work table. Dip each paint brush in different colour paints. Each brush will create different patterns and textures on the paper.

This activity helps your child to improve his fine motor skills and create pictures with no restrictions or expectations. A fun filled activity for your bundle of joy.
