Planning for Your Child’s Financial Security

Requisites: Paper plates- 1 for each cat you wish to make, paint, paint brushes, adhesive tape, child safe scissors, googly eyes and pompoms.

Steps:

1. Start with painting the paper plate. If you stick with a Halloween theme, you could simply paint the whole plate black. If you wish to add some more colors, you can always make variants of other colors.

2. Once the paint is completely dry cut an arch shaped piece from the paper plate. This would form the body of the cat.

3. From the cut out piece, cut out a smaller arch to make the tail.

4. From the left out circular piece cut out the head of the cat with ears. Stick all the pieces in place.

5. Once the adhesive is dry you would have the base ready. All that is left is to add details to the face of the cat.

6. Cut out narrow strips of black paper or from the left out scraps of the painted plate to make whiskers and paste that as well.

7. Stick the googly eyes on the cat’s face. You could use a tiny pink pompom for the cat’s nose.

Once the cat is done, you would have an entertained kid and a decor worth treasuring. This would make a fun activity to sit with the kids and make something nice for Halloween.
