There are several activities or experiences in life that may sound trivial, but will hold values beyond our imagination. Teaching your child to polish his own shoes is one of them. Polishing shoes will probably give your child some life lessons that he will take around with him all his life.

1. Start with sitting and polishing shoes along with your child. Teach him the way it should be done. Like always said, your child will learn more from you than anyone else.

3. Polishing shoes in itself is an art that not everyone can master. So, having respect and dignity towards all kinds of work is important.
