There is something magical about this painting activity that your child will love, and helps them in getting familiar with colors. Once your child has finished painting, place it in the microwave and see the magic. This will help in developing fine motor activity of your sweetie pie.
Requisites: 1 tablespoon of Self raising flour, 1 tablespoon of salt, 3 tablespoons of food colouring mixed in water , Thick cardboard, scissor, paint brush.
Steps:
1. Continuously mix the self raising flour, salt and food colouring mixed in water with a paint brush until all combined well and turned into a paste.
2. Cut the thick cardboard into small pieces so that it can be fit in the microwave. The paint also should be thick so that, when they are cooked they are extra puffy.
3. Place the paintings one by one in the microwave to get the puffy paint. Avoid overcooking as puffy paintings always comes out warm not hot, so keep an eye.
This activity not only encourages creativity in your kiddo but also helps them in developing eye and hand coordination and colour recognition.
