Almost every kid loves to see a rainbow but can’t see it when he wants to. You can make it happen! With this exciting and cool activity, your kiddo can see a rainbow inside the house even when it is not raining. Moreover, this activity will also help your kiddo to develop creativity, eye and hand coordination, and motor skills.
Requisites: A small mirror, glass jar that is circular in shape or a drinking water glass full of water, a torch.
Steps:
1. Take a small mirror and place it inside the jar or glass.
2. Make sure that the mirror placed in the jar is slightly tilted upwards.
3. Fill the glass or the jar with water.
4. Then take the glass or the jar in a dark room.
5. The walls of the room should be white in color.
6. Take your torch and place the on the mirror that is placed in the jar.
7. Watch the different colors of rainbow that will appear very soon.
This science experiment will definitely soothe your little science lover. Try this activity and you will see soon your house full of rainbows.
