When your child has grown in age he needs to learn about science in a precise manner. You can offer this learning at home with simple activities. Make sure your child is totally focused when you demonstrate this interesting activity.

Requisites: Salt, pepper, wool cloth and plastic spoon.

Steps:

1. Mix salt and pepper. Place this mixture on the table.

2. Take a plastic spoon and rub it on a wool cloth. This would charge the plastic spoon.

3. Now take the spoon close to the mixture. The pepper particles are lighter than salt and would get attracted to the spoon.

This task is the simplest way to make your child learn about static electricity. You can ask your child to perform this activity without your assistance. This would help him get familiar with science in a better manner.
