There must be a good learning environment for your small kid. You should make her understand basic facts through useful demos. Make your kid learn about objects which can float and objects which will sink in water.

Requisites: A bucket full of water, different objects of varying weights, example: sponge, feather, paper, coin, bottle cap and a stone.

Steps:

1. Ask your kid to take each object and drop it in the bucket.

2. Once she is done with all the objects then ask your kid which all items are floating and which all are at the bottom.

3. This is the time you need to make your child learn about weight and mass.

Tell her that items having a greater mass sink while others are floating. This activity will work on the cognitive skills of your kid which are very important for her to learn logical things in a clear way.
