Your child should be taught about motor skills. Your growing child is open to learn a variety of tasks and as a parent you must stress on this fact. Make your child learn how to separate two different elements.

Contents

Requisites: Beans, sand, a funnel and a container.

Steps:

1. Take a tray and add beans to a large quantity of sand.

2. Now offer your child with a funnel.

3. Ask him to pick up sand and pour it down the thin funnel. The beans would get stuck while the sand would pour down.

4. Let your child repeat this procedure until he separates all the beans from the sand.

You can make this activity more interesting but turning it into a competition and setting a time limit.
