Sound Sensing Activity

Check your child’s sensing ability through this fun task. Close your child’s eyes and ask him to figure out which sound is coming from what direction. This is a fun task which would help you test your kid’s cognitive skills.

Requisites: A black cloth.

Steps:

1. Tie the cloth on your child's eyes and then turn him around.

2. Now you have to move to different positions and clap with your hands. Observe if your child is able to recognize the exact direction from where the sound is coming.

3. You can even make the task more interesting by creating two sounds at once.

Your child should develop a sharp mind to sense various sounds. You can make different sounds and ask your kid to state what they are. You can play this on a weekly basis.
