Knowing the geographical location of various countries especially of our very own India, is a must and a cool activity to teach your 7-8 year old.

You just need a world map or a globe for this activity and enjoy whilst following the steps below.

1. Take the globe or world map and tell your kid to observe it. Explain how to read a map.

2. As he does, he will discover various countries and ask you a lot of questions. Ensure that you suffice his curiosity with clear answers.

3. Now ask to locate India on the map and see how he explores and points it out.

You can also conduct the same activity with the map of India and let your kid explore various parts of India. Reading a map and exploring new places is an interesting task. This activity will help you engage your child in free time.
