Swirling Twirling Sparkling Fluidy Bottles

This is an activity your kid will enjoy. It will bring a sense of calmness into your kid. Your kid will love to play with these bottles and be amazed with the effects, and it's also a great way to boost his cognitive and imagination skills.

Requisites: Few soda bottles, water, liquid dish detergent, cooking oil, food coloring, light corn syrup, clear shampoos and hair gel, small decorative items (sequins, buttons, pearls)

This activity will involve three different patterns for your kid to enjoy.

Steps:

1. For making a bubble bottle: Take a soda bottle and fill it with 3/4th portions of water. To this water add two tablespoon of dish soap and seal it properly. The moment your kid shakes it, you will see happiness excitement and twinkling eyes as he will see not bubbles but an array of colors when taken in sunlight or a brightly lit room.

2. For making a wave bottle: Fill the soda bottle again with 3/4th amount of water and mix few drops of food coloring and 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. This bottle will make your child see how tiny colored oil droplets float on the surface of water.

3. For making a slow motion bottle: The soda bottle must be poured with corn syrup and shampoo or hair gel whichever is available. Now add the decorative items to the bottle. Your kid will enjoy this as he will see these small items sticking and floating along with the syrup and shampoo with glittery and shiny bright sequins.

The activity is a perfect stage setter for your kid to explain various cause and effect along with colors, patterns and designs.

Note: Make sure that the bottles are properly sealed and the activity is done in your presence as it can cause choking hazards.
