This collage is a great way for your child to see different methods of creating the same idea. Your little one's gross motor and creativity is given a push through this activity.

Requisites: Animal Stencils Printable, Coloured construction paper, Coloured Tissue Paper, White paper for background (11x17), Glue Stick, Pencil, Scissors

Steps:

1. Print-out worksheets of animal stencils, and have your child choose an animal or two to cut out.

2. Cut out the stencil shapes with scissors, select the construction paper he would like to use with the shapes of the animal he is making.

3. Trace two of each shape onto the construction paper, carefully cut out the first set of shapes out of the paper following the pencil lines.

4. Rip the second set of shapes directly out of the paper, don’t worry if the lines are not straight- this will add character and personality to the animal and your little one’s artwork.

5. On a white sheet of paper glue both animals down, one that was cut and other that was ripped out.

6. Now, have your child cut out and rip various pieces of coloured tissue paper, have him glue tissue paper over the top of his construction paper animals to see what different colours it can create.

7. Do not forget to fill in some scenery for the animal to live in, practice painting or drawing backgrounds using markers, paint, crayons or more cut out or torn tissue paper shapes.

And your craft is ready! Your little one will learn something creative in his holidays!

Financial Planning: Key to Your Child’s Optimal Growth

Your child's all-round development combines formal education and creative activities. Mosaic art, for instance, develops hand-eye coordination and boosts confidence, which are the precursors to intellectual and emotional development.

Just as nurturing your child’s growth requires attention, securing the future involves proactive financial planning. Term insurance will provide your loved ones with financial protection for unforeseen emergencies. Considering the rising living costs, choosing a 1 crore term insurance plan will ensure sound protection.

When deciding on a life insurance plan, use a term insurance calculator to estimate the right coverage and premiums and always choose a plan that guarantees long-term financial security.
