There might be behavioral issues with your 6-7 year old child while being at home. He may not listen to you at times and behaves the exact opposite of what you have asked for. In such a situation you can adopt an activity called "The Family Chip System” which will show improvement in your child within few weeks.

Requisites: A box of poker chips, rewards for your kids

Steps:

1. You need to purchase a box of poker chips from any drug store.

2. Assemble all the family members and even neighborhood children at your home. Give the children an opportunity to be in charge of themselves.

3. Make a list of behaviors they will earn chips for. You can give them chips for helping you in chores, for their good behavior and for their positive attitude.

4. Also, make them aware that if they will do something wrong or behave in a wrong way, then they will lose the chips. If they throw some tantrums, fight with other children, be late to school, throw things around, and not listen to your instructions then their chips will be taken back.

5. Make them aware that for their good work they will earn chips and prepare a chart with points for the good work done. Also, give them reward other than chips every week for the kid with maximum points earned.

This activity will motivate your kiddo not only to learn to behave better but he will also learn to be competent through this task.
