Games are so much fun. Your kid at this stage loves to play and learn different games. Being active is a good for your child. Fruit salad can be played as a party game, among friends or even at a school.

Steps:

1. Form a circle of chairs that is one chair less than a total number of players.

2. Nominate a player to be 'in', that player stands in the centre of the circle.

3. Divide all players into three groups of fruit by going around the circle and naming them apple, orange or pear.

4. The player, who is 'in', calls the name of a fruit.

5. If he calls out apples, everyone who is that team must get up quickly and exchange places with their teammates.

6. Players who are not apple should remain seated.

7. The person who is 'in' tries to sit in an empty spot whenever players swap positions.

8. If he manages to sit in a chair, the player not sitting in a chair is then 'in'.

9. The den can also call 'fruit salad' and everyone who is seated has to change spots.

The game can finish whenever you like. Your kiddo will hone his motor skills through this activity.
