Thumb print art is a fun art for your kiddo. Make your own thumb print hearts tree using the tree template and your child's fingerprints to make the hearts. It's an ideal gift for Mother's Day or Father's Day as well. This art activity helps also to develop touching sense of your sweetie pie.

Requisites: 1 x tree template, 1 x A2 sheet of paper, black marker pen, red paint

Steps:

1) Print out the tree template from the web. Place it under a sheet of A2 layout paper and trace over the tree shape with black marker pen . You can add more branches if you like, or even make some of the branches longer.

2) Now put a blob of red paint onto a paper plate or an ice cream container lid and then swirl it out with a paintbrush to make it not so ‘blobby’ and thick.

3) Load up your child’s thumbs with red paint.Use two thumb prints to form hearts all over your tree like flowers on the tree.

This is a learning activity which is also full of fun at the same time. Your sweetie pie will love it
