Time For Some Indoor Fun- Boosting Motor Skills!

Is it too cold outside? Are you tired of working all day long, but your child is still too active? Well, you don’t have to go outside to nurture her motor skills. Instead you can sit and relax, while letting her enjoy simple indoor activities that are fun. And you can join her too; have some indoor fun that will revitalize you for the next day!

Try these:

1. For starters, try some pen and paper games, which are great when it’s raining or you want your child to be occupied in the car or at the restaurant. You can try hangman, dots and squares, play a battleship game with downloadable templates among others.

2. Or just be the magical papa! Be your kids’ Houdini by placing a coin under one of the cups, shuffling them and then asking her where the coin can be. Meanwhile, sneak and take away the coin so that it doesn’t appear in any of the cups! Your little ones will be surprised.

3. Just in case the kid is too active, you can play games like ‘Freeze’ where she ought to stop when the music stops. She needs to freeze herself in positions like specific poses, animals, shapes or letters.
