Requisites: A large sheet of tarpaulin or you could also use a heavy duty clear plastic sheet, water hose with a spray nozzle attachment, soapy solution.

Steps:

1. This activity would have its full effect if you find a slope in your garden.

2. Lay the tarp or plastic sheet on the slope. You could use any waterproof material that is slippery.

3. If you do not find a slope, you could still lay it on flat ground for some splashing fun.

4. Attach the water spray nozzle and set it to the gentle spray mode.

5. Suspend the hose at a height so that your kid can pull it down.

6. Position it such that, it can continuously supply water on the tarp.

7. Squirt some soapy liquid solution on the tarp just to make it slippery. Otherwise, the slide effect will not be felt.

8. See! There you have a water slide that is inexpensive, easy and quick to set up.

Any water activity would be best with adult supervision. Choose a soft spot in the lawn where your kid would not get hurt even if he falls down as you can’t prevent slips when water is around.
