You can play this guessing activity with your kid. This is a fun way to check and improve his vocabulary. It will also enhance his cognitive abilities.
Requisites: A blank sheet of paper, a coloured sheet, scissors and glue.
Steps:
1. Make your child sit with you when he is totally focused and ready. You have to write words on a sheet of paper. Make sure they are written at the centre.
2. Now cut coloured strips and cover either the starting or ending pattern of those words.
3. Now ask your child to guess the missing pattern. Every time your kid guesses you have to remove a strip to reveal if he has answered it correctly or not.
It would take some time for your child to guess them correctly. If you think it is getting difficult for him then you can offer hints. Do not offer words which are out of his reach. You can practice this activity daily so that your child’s stays in practice.
