Here are certain factors that will let you decide whether you will get pregnant on a faster or a slower level. Let’s take a look at them:

# Lifestyle

A lot depends on your lifestyle, you need to see whether you are leading a healthy life or not before you try to take a plunge into pregnancy. You should cut down on smoking, alcohol, caffeine, late night parties. Start taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid for a healthy growth of the baby. Your family medical history also plays an important role in your pregnancy and at what age you are deciding to get pregnant also matters a lot. Discuss all these factors with your doctor and then go for a smooth journey of pregnancy.

# Time

As per the numbers from various studies, the average 25-30 year old women has 20 percent chance of getting pregnant each month without any fertility complications. Women who are under 25 years of age have 25 percent chances of getting pregnant per cycle. Women who fall under 35-39 years of age have only 15 percent chances of getting pregnant easily and by 40, the chances of pregnancy remains just 5 percent. If your cycle is regular and your ovulation calendar is perfect then you can conceive as fast as you can or else you need to wait a bit longer for the good news.

# Sex

If you are trying to conceive then you need to have sex twice or thrice in a week. You just can’t go for once in a while attitude and make things happen on their own. Even if you are having sex on a daily basis, it will not help in conception. You need to match up your ovulation chart and your duration of having sex with that in order to conceive successfully. If after these attempts too you are not getting pregnant then do consult your doctor to look for the problem. There might be some fertility issues with you or your partner that can be easily solved with treatments to pave your way towards a successful pregnancy.

# Stress

Often, stress and anxiety leads to reduction of sperm quality in men and also disturbs the hormonal balance in women. This leads to infertility and due to this, there is a delay in conceiving. Do not stress yourself out when you are trying to get pregnant. Indulge in sex twice or thrice in a week and do not overdo it. Enjoy life, find ways to stay together and enjoy the moments to stay away from stress and anxiety. Do not think that getting pregnant is a target, just go with the flow and make a happy start towards your pregnancy.

# Vacation

It is very important to let your hair down and enjoy some time together. Whenever you get time together just take a break and go for a vacation. This will give both of you lovely moments of being together and your mind will be relaxed too. Keep TV and your mobile on an off mode and enjoy the beauty of the place and revive your love life once again on this vacation. Who knows that this vacation might get lucky for both of you!

# Health Check-ups

Go for regular health check-ups while you are planning a baby. Both of you should be in a good mental and physical state before you step into parenthood. Get your weight, blood pressure and sugar level in control before you plan a baby. Listen to doctor’s advice carefully and take all the supplements on time before and during your pregnancy. This will give you a healthy and safe pregnancy.

Take into account all these factors and you will soon be on the way to a healthy motherhood.
