Breast milk is produced from mom's body and should be packed with all the vital nutrients essential for baby’s well being and growth. Thus, the diet of a breastfeeding mom is very crucial and it should be well-balanced and healthy.

A nonvegetarian mom can opt for eggs, fish and lean meat for her daily protein intake. This is an essential part of a proper diet for a healthy breastfeeding mom.
Breastfeeding mom must include generous amount of low-fat dairy products in her diet as they rich in calcium, vitamin B & D
A new mommy should drink juices, water, soups, milk, sufficiently to be hydrated.
The above-listed super-foods are best for breastfeeding moms and should be included in her daily diet. It is advisable to eat home-made less spicy food that has been prepared under hygienic conditions.
