3. Fruits —

4. Legumes--

Legumes or pulses are a rich source of proteins and iron content, especially for vegetarian mothers. Add Beans, peas, lentils, kidney beans etc in your meal.

5. Eggs, lean meat & fish--

A nonvegetarian mom can opt for eggs, fish and lean meat for her daily protein intake. This is an essential part of a proper diet for a healthy breastfeeding mom.

6. Dairy Products —

Breastfeeding mom must include generous amount of low-fat dairy products in her diet as they rich in calcium, vitamin B & D

7. Liquids--

A new mommy should drink juices, water, soups, milk, sufficiently to be hydrated.

The above-listed super-foods are best for breastfeeding moms and should be included in her daily diet. It is advisable to eat home-made less spicy food that has been prepared under hygienic conditions.
