Germs are everywhere and there is a possibility that your little one gets sick. There are few ways you can do to help ease her discomfort.
Contents
1. Make sure your baby is getting plenty of liquids to prevent dehydration. Offer your baby breastmilk or formula often to provide both dehydration and comfort.
2. Don’t overdress your baby in order to protect her. Just run a humidifier to maintain a conducive environment, warm enough to make your child feel comfy.
3. Adding a warm bath to her schedule really helps. It relaxes her and keeps her less irritable. Dry your baby thoroughly afterward to prevent chills.
4. Use antibiotics only if the doctor recommends it.
5. Lots of rest and sleep will soothe your tiny one and help her heal. Encourage naps and keep her as quiet as possible.
6. Keep your infant’s head slightly elevated to make breathing easier.
7. The best way to soothe your sick baby is to give her lots of love and attention. Your voice will keep her relaxed and happy.
