Encourage your baby to identify and reach for toys around her. Put her favorite toy just out of reach and let her try to reach it. Build a stack of blocks and encourage her to knock it down. Place 2 balls at varying distances and see if she can reach for the nearest one first.

Play a little game of run and catch with her favourite toy so that she feels compelled to follow you around. Dangling little toys around her while she is at play and asking her to reach out is another great way to make her learn movements. The best toys for this purpose are the ones that come with a string attached with them.
