Proper sleep is absolutely essential for your child’s proper development at this point. Your kid will respond well to fixed timings and sleep routines, so create a systematic pre-bedtime ritual which needs to followed every single day.

    Create the routine according to your child’s requirements and preferences.  If he has a ritual before falling asleep, make sure he has what he needs to make him comfortable. For example, your kid may like clutching a favorite toy, or singing a particular song, or even having you read out a favorite book before he goes to sleep.

    You also need to ensure that your kid maintains healthy bed time habits. For example, he should learn that before bed time, he needs to wash his hands and face, brush his teeth, and put on clean night clothes. Make him realize that once he gets ready for bed, no more play time is allowed.
