Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
As a parent of such a young baby, you may find yourself getting concerned over the smallest of things and worrying how much attention needs to be paid to these seemingly minor issues. One such concern is your baby’s behaviour when she is asleep.
Contents
You might often find your baby smiling, hiccupping or whimpering in her sleep. This may be slightly alarming to you. However, you should know that this is quite common, so don’t be concerned. Just ensure that everything is ok; for example, check that her mouth is not covered with her blanket, or that her limbs are not trapped in her wrappings.
Do not feel the need to pick up and rock your kid any time she makes the slightest noise or shows any little disturbance in her sleep, as she will become accustomed to this. Also, do not wake her up suddenly as it will startle her greatly. Soothe your baby gently back to sleep by gently patting or stroking her.
