    • Your child is growing up fast and by this stage, he is likely to have certain preferences for a list of things already. Keep in mind your child’s capabilities and personal choice while planning activities for him. Before going for any activity, discuss it with your child. Explain what the activity is and take his opinion. If it is a new class, let him go for a demo before enrolling.

    • Make a list of your child’s likes and dislikes, and based on that, choose activities for him. A lively child will enjoy outdoor activities and sporty stuff. A quiet child may prefer activities based on crafts or reading.

    • In case of any new activity, give your child time to adjust. He may dislike something initially just because it is new and unfamiliar, but may start enjoying it once he gets the hang of it.

    • If your child is not enjoying a particular activity even after some time, do not force him just because everyone else is doing it or because you feel it will be good for him. Let your kid do what he enjoys.
