Many cartoons teach your child moral values. For instance, 'Chotta Bheem’ teaches children to be bold in tough situations and have fun with friends. Once your child watches a cartoon, ask him what has he learnt from it. This reinforces learning and adds to his memory.
Cartoon films teach your child problem solving and social skills. If your child has problem making new friends, you can give examples of the characters from the cartoon films that he has watched. This way he will try to apply a similar technique that he had seen in the film, in real-life situations.
Joining him, while watching a cartoon is improving the child-parent relationship.
