Free Play Time Is Actually Productive & Not A Waste Of Time

As a dedicated parent, you naturally want to guide your child constantly in the best way you can, and so you may try to structure her day in a way that you feel in most productive. However, it is important that you provide your kid with some free time every day, when she is allowed to play whatever she likes.

Do not feel that you need to fill up your child’s day with different activities. You may feel that when she spends time doing what seems to be nothing to you, it is an unproductive use of her time. However, it is actually this free unplanned time that makes your little one exercise and develop her imaginative powers and decision making skills.

Let your child be in an environment where she has access to plenty of stimulating paraphernalia, and let her do what she wishes. You can keep different toys, crayons and paper, puzzles and books. Resist the urge to instruct or direct her in any way.
