As your kid grows up, you need to mould his character by guiding him regarding his behaviour. Along with proper conduct, it is important to teach your child all about respecting others. However, no matter what he is taught, the biggest influence on him will be your own behaviour in his presence.

If you want your child to give respect to family members and others, you need to set an example before him. If family members fight before your child and hurl abusive words at each other, you cannot expect your child to be polite, as he is highly observant of his surroundings.

Ensure that you always use proper language and behave politely in his presence. If there are any disagreements, carry them out in a separate room or when your child is not present at home. Speak to your family members and ensure that they all follow these practices.
