Have a lively conversation with everyone and encourage your kid to join in

Nowadays families have become so busy with their own individual lives that they hardly get to talk and interact. However, it is critical that you all make time to meet as a family and exchange news and experiences. This is an excellent bonding exercise as well as a learning opportunity for your child.

You can start off by asking everyone to share something interesting or funny that happened during the day. Encourage your child to also talk about his experiences that he had that day. Once he shares something, let everyone praise and applaud him. This practice paves the way for a frank and open relationship with your child as he grows up.

If your kid is unwilling to talk at first, do not force him. Engage everyone in the conversation and let him just listen. Talk in a normal conversational tone and avoid baby talk. Don’t make it a time to preach but let it be a fun time with lots of laughter and jokes.
