Help Your Child With Language Acquisition

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

He will be good at pronunciation except for some complex words like ambulance etc which he may mispronounce. He will understand directions well and can tell the sequence too. For example, first we will do study, then go to park and then have dinner.

-Reading will help him grow in his language abilities. After reading, let him retell the story. Make the story sessions interactive. -Play word games like 'Guess the word' by giving cues. For instance, we have bread with ‘this’? What’s the word? -In day to day conversations, you can work with prepositions. For example, we keep the book on the table Or We keep the bat under the bed.

Encourage his efforts as he tries to tell a story or tell what happened at school. Don’t be a critic.
