Instill Proper Dining Etiquette From A Young Age

Your child is all eligible to learn some basic etiquette at this point that will further help him in life, in the long run. Start teaching your child dining etiquette right from the beginning. Hands should be washed before every meal, and the mouth should be rinsed after eating. Teach the little one to handle cutlery properly; even if he is unable to copy you at first, it is important to keep showing him till he learns.
At home, your child must be taught the basic social etiquettes so that he is well equipped to conduct himself cordially in a social setting. Dining etiquette is among some of the primary trainings that a child must learn. Once he has been taught how to eat on his own, teach him the basics such as washing the hands and wiping them dry before sitting for a meal.
How to hold the spoons and keep the cutlery steady. Tell him to wash his hands post meal and also wipe his mouth clean. Develop in the child a habit to gargle after every meal. This will help ensure that his teeth remain healthy for a very long period and there are no bad breaths. The child will learn most of it by following you so ensure that you are practicing what you preach.
