Disagreements and conflict resolution is a part of everyone’s life. As your child grows older now, he is bound to come face to face with certain situations where there is a conflict. So it is vital that you instruct your child regarding how to deal with such situations on his own.

Initially your kid will come crying to you when he is faced with any trouble, for example, if someone has snatched away his ball, or if he is not getting a turn on the swing. As a parent, you may naturally feel the urge to rush and resolve the issue. However, gradually you need to restrain yourself and instead teach your kid to handle the matter himself.
Instill your kid with confidence so that he is not afraid to stand up for himself. Ask him what he thinks he should do. This will help him develop his problem solving skills. Let him know that you are always there for him if he is in any real trouble.
