At this stage of your child's development, it is definitely a great idea to have your child bond with grandparents. There is no two ways about the fact that kids love it with them and also imbibe several life skills that are many a times ignored by parents.

But, having said that, it is important that a child is comfortable at his grandparent's house and there isn’t much disparity in parenting style between them and you. Many a times it has been seen that grandparents’ thoughts differ from the parents which creates a situation that may not be welcoming for the child. And, a child might be in midst of the crossfire.

So, even though it is absolutely imperative for a child to bond with his grandparents, it is equally important that everyone is willing and comfortable with the arrangement and it is not forced in any way.
