Try Different Activities To Stimulate Your Kid's Cognitive Abilities

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

At this stage, your child's thinking skills are expanding. Indulge in a variety of intellectual activities to help your child stimulate his thinking capabilities. Try giving him age-appropriate puzzles; searching for the correct puzzle piece and figuring out where to place it, are excellent ways of developing cognitive skills. Scatter some alphabets on the floor and ask him to search for and bring you a particular letter.

Reading books is wonderful way of developing your child’s intellect. Get him lots of picture books where you can point out and name different things. Later on, ask him to recall those names. Tell your kid different stories – this will help him learn lessons and remember things more easily.

Your kid will probably be asking you lots of questions at this age. Try answering every one of his questions, no matter how silly or irritating they may seem. This will help nurture their inquisitive skills. If you do not know a particular answer, look it up together in a reference book.
