Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
Your child is now very young, and he is still learning about people and the world around him. He reacts naturally to whatever happens, as he still has not learnt to control his responses. This is okay as long as he does it at home. But when he starts interacting with the external world, he needs to learn about caring for other people’s feelings.
Contents
Teach your kid about self-control. He is quite impulsive and just blurts out whatever he thinks, even if it is hurtful or rude. Teach him that he might hurt people by doing this, and that he should be mindful of others’ feelings and emotions.
You can also make your kid understand the value of other people’s feelings by analyzing his own feelings, especially when something goes wrong. For example, if he falls down in the playground and his friend laughs at him, you can ask him later about how that made him feel. This will make him more aware of others’ emotions.
